They are well renowned for their high level of consistency and quality, and every fly in the range is a proven fish catcher. Tied using quality hooks, beads and materials, this range of flies is sure to impress.

The Arthurs Klinkhammer is a proven Tasmanian trout fly designed to imitate emerging insects trapped in the surface film. With its distinctive curved body hanging below the surface and hackled post supporting the fly above the water, it presents an exceptionally realistic profile to trout feeding just beneath the film.

Equally at home on Tasmania's highland lakes, tailing shorelines and flowing rivers, the Arthurs Klinkhammer excels during mayfly and midge activity, but is just as effective whenever fish are feeding confidently in or just under the surface. The partially submerged abdomen closely imitates vulnerable emerging insects and often triggers takes from trout that refuse conventional dry flies.

A deadly choice for picky trout feeding on emergers, the Arthurs Klinkhammer excels when fish are ignoring fully emerged duns and focusing on insects trapped or hatching within the surface film. This realistic presentation frequently unlocks difficult fish that seem impossible to fool with traditional dry fly patterns.

Available in either a highly visible fluorescent pink post or a more subtle black post, anglers can select the version that best suits the conditions. The pink post makes the fly noticeably easier to track in glare, chop, low light and at distance, while the black post offers a more natural appearance that many anglers favour when fishing calm water and wary trout.

Whether drifted naturally across slicks, presented to rising fish, or fished blind across likely water, the Arthurs Klinkhammer is a versatile and highly effective fly that deserves a place in every trout angler's fly box.

Features

Size #14

Barbless

Proven Tasmanian emerger pattern

Curved body profile for realistic surface-film presentation

Deadly on picky trout feeding on emergers

Effective during mayfly and midge hatches

Available with either a Hi-Vis Pink Post or Black Post

Ideal for lakes, rivers and tailing fish

Highly effective for selective and pressured trout

Natural emerger profile that fools fish refusing conventional dry flies
