They are well renowned for their high level of consistency and quality, and every fly in the range is a proven fish catcher. Tied using quality hooks, beads and materials, this range of flies is sure to impress.

The Blowfly is a highly buoyant terrestrial pattern designed to imitate one of nature's most overlooked but effective trout foods. Large black blowflies regularly find their way onto the water, particularly during warmer weather, and trout rarely pass up the opportunity for an easy meal.

Built with a durable black foam body, realistic profile and sparkling blue-black underbody, this pattern creates the distinctive silhouette of a struggling blowfly trapped in the surface film. A prominent white wing post makes the fly easy to track at distance, allowing anglers to confidently fish it through riffles, wind lanes and broken water where smaller dry flies can quickly disappear from view.

The Blowfly excels as a searching pattern on lakes and rivers alike. Fish it close to grassy banks, beneath overhanging vegetation, or drift it through likely holding water whenever trout are looking for larger surface offerings. High floating, highly visible and highly effective, it is a pattern that earns its place in any terrestrial fly box.

Features

Size #12

Barbless

High-floating foam body

Realistic blowfly profile

Sparkling blue-black underbody

Visible white wing post

Excellent searching pattern for rivers and lakes

Highly buoyant and easy to track in rough water

Effective whenever trout are feeding on terrestrials and larger surface insects
