They are well renowned for their high level of consistency and quality, and every fly in the range is a proven fish catcher. Tied using quality hooks, beads and materials, this range of flies is sure to impress.

The Fugly is one of those flies that trout simply seem to notice. Built around a buoyant black foam body with rubber legs, a possum underwing and deer hair overwing, it creates a large, buggy silhouette that stands out on the surface and suggests a wide range of terrestrial insects. Despite its unconventional appearance, it has earned a reputation as a highly effective searching pattern on rivers, lakes and rougher water where visibility is critical.

The high-floating foam construction keeps the fly riding confidently on the surface, while the bright pink sighter makes it easy to track through riffles, runs and choppy lake conditions. Whether fished tight to cut banks, drifted through pocket water, or cast blind across wind lanes, the Fugly remains visible long after many other dry flies disappear from sight.

A fantastic choice whenever trout are looking up and conditions demand a fly you can both see and trust.

Features

Size #12

Barbless

Possum underwing and deer hair overwing

High-floating black foam body

Realistic rubber legs for added movement

Bright pink sighter for exceptional visibility

Excellent searching pattern for rivers and lakes

Effective in rough water, glare and windy conditions
