Textreme Flat Tinsel- Small
Textreme Flat Tinsel - 30m Spool
The innovative fly-tying materials from Textreme (Italy) are renowned for their exceptional quality and outstanding value. Textreme Flat Tinsel is a premium metallic fly-tying material designed to create smooth, highly reflective bodies, ribs and accents on a wide variety of freshwater and stillwater patterns.
Its flat profile wraps neatly and evenly around the hook shank, producing clean, durable and eye-catching finishes without unwanted bulk. Whether you're tying classic wet flies, modern Perdigons, Euro nymphs, buzzers, streamers or traditional attractor patterns, Flat Tinsel provides the flash and realism needed to grab a trout's attention.
The bright metallic finish reflects light exceptionally well underwater, making it an ideal choice for ribbing, full body wraps, tags and flashy underbodies. It performs particularly well beneath UV resin coatings on Perdigon nymphs, where it creates the hard, glossy and highly reflective finish that modern competition anglers rely on.
Thin enough for use on small technical nymphs yet durable enough for larger streamers and wet flies, Textreme Flat Tinsel is one of the most versatile flash materials a fly tyer can keep at the bench.
