Impact Soft Wading Kneepads

We’ve partnered with Impact Soft to bring you the new Impact Soft 20.20 wading knee pads, complete with Meander Fly Co custom branding.

From tight creek beds to big rivers, getting down low can make all the difference. Hand assembled in Italy, these purpose-built fly fishing knee pads give your knees, shins and ankles extra protection, while helping shield your waders from abrasion and punctures. They’re a comfortable base for kneeling to fish, keeping a low profile or grabbing a riverside photo.

The 20.20 version builds on the originals with some practical upgrades for days on the water:

• Thicker protective padding: extra protection with a design that eliminates vibration in turbulent water.
• Double-row stitching: 1,200 machine stitches, up from 660, using the same thread as the original.
• Thicker elastic straps: comfortable, adjustable support to keep the pads in place.
• Improved clips: an updated attachment and release system for getting them on and off.
• 3M anti-slip strips on the front: added grip when kneeling or bracing against slippery rocks.
• Meander Fly Co custom branding: UV printed on the grip strips.

Despite the upgraded protection added weight is minimal meaning they are super comfortable and practical to wear. Water-repellent and hydrodynamic, they’re designed to sit neatly in running water rather than flare out. One size fits most.

A handy bit of kit for anglers who spend plenty of time on their knees beside the water. They add protection and grip, and more importantly help you keep a low profile to spook less fish, and have more shots!
